No Patient Parking in the Rear Car Park

There is no patient parking in our rear car park. This is for safety reasons and because the rear car park need to occasionally be accessible for the ambulance service in an emergency.

There are 2 dedicated disabled spaces in the front car park, along with 1 general space.

If parking is not available we kindly request that you park off site on Ray Park Avenue, or in Ray Park Road. If you have a blue badge, you are able to park on the single yellow line outside the surgery.

We politely request that you park courteously and don’t park up close to the entrance, which is clearly marked keep clear, as it limits the visibility for patient turning out of the surgery and is on a blind bend.

We also kindly request that you park courteously and do not block the driveways of our neighbours.

The decision to close the rear car park was made by the GP partners, supported by the Friends of Rosemead Patient Participation Group. It follows months of discourteous parking in the rear car park, followed by an accident where two cars collided. Luckily nobody was injured, but we take the safety of our patients and staff seriously, and feel that this is the only solution.

We thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
